Tour Overview
Indonesia, a Southeast Asian nation made up of thousands of volcanic islands, is home to hundreds of ethnic groups speaking many different languages. It’s known for beaches, volcanoes, Komodo dragons and jungles sheltering elephants, orangutans and tigers. On the island of Java lies Indonesia's vibrant, sprawling capital, Jakarta, and the city of Yogyakarta, known for gamelan music and traditional puppetry. The Gili Islands are a group of 3 tiny islands – Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air – in Indonesia, near the coast of northwest Lombok Island. Characterized by sandy beaches fringed with palm trees, they're known for their coral reefs just offshore. On the smallest island of Gili Meno, sea turtles swim at Turtle Point. At Gili Trawangan, the largest island, a sunken ship sits at Wreck Point near Mentigi Beach.
Day 1: Arrive Lombok
Arrive at Lombok international airport where a warm welcome awaits you. You will be greeted by a professional guide who will escort you to your hotel of choice in Lombok. Check in and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your own leisure. Overnight at your choice of hotel in Lombok.
Day 2: Gili Nanggu – Gili Sudak – Gili Kedis
After breakfast at the hotel, at a designated time, a dedicated guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby, drive to Lembar harbour where a outrigger boat is waiting for sailing to Gili Nanggu. Enjoy snorkeling and sunbathing by the beach then proceed by boat to nearby Gili Sudak. After some leisure time on this island the boat takes you to Gili Kedis. Afterwards transfer back to Lombok and enjoy the evening at your own leisure. Overnight at your choice of hotel in Lombok.
Day 3: Gili Air – Gili Trawangan – Gili Meno
After breakfast at the hotel, drive west to Teluk Kode where a local outrigger awaits to take you to discover the three idyllic atolls that are known as the main Trio Gilis. Each of these three Gilis has its own unique characteristics, thus attracts a different sort of traveller looking for the perfect spot on each of these laid back gems. Enjoy snorkeling and swimming at different spots around the three islands to observe the colourful coral reefs and varieties of tropical fish. Return to Lombok then drive back to your hotel of choice for evening at leisure. Overnight at your choice of hotel in Lombok.
Day 4: Depart Lombok
Breakfast at the hotel and check out at the designated time and transfer to Lombok international airport for your onward flight.
