Gulmarg - Pahalgam - Srinagar

Kashmir abounds in rich flora. The Valley which has been described as the 'Paradise' on Earth is full of many hues of wood and game. The most magnificent of the Kashmir trees is the Chinar found throughout the valley. It grows to giant size and girth. The trees presents itself in various enchanting colors through the cycle of the seasons among which its autumnal look is breath-taking. Mountain ranges in the Valley have dense deodar, pine and fir. Walnut, willow, almond and cider also add to the rich flora of Kashmir.

Day 1: Arrival Srinagar airport

Attractions: Nishat Bagh (the garden of pleasure),Shalimar garden (abode of love),Chashmashahi (The royal spring),Shikara to visit Floating Gardens

Arrival at Srinagar airport and transfer Hotel/House boat in Srinagar Afternoon tour of famous Mughal gardens visit; the Nishat Bagh (the garden of pleasure) Shalimar garden (abode of love) & Chashmashahi (The royal spring). Evening ride by Shikara to visit Floating Gardens, Lotus Gardens. Overnight stay at Hotel / House boat.

Day 2: Srinagar â€“ Gulmarg (58 Kms One Way):

After breakfast check out from Hotel & proceed to gulmarg (8700 fts). On arrival in gulmarg check-in Hotel .Gulmarg is also known as “Meadow Of Flowers “ & has a famous Golf course during summer (which is one if the highest 18-holes golf course in the world) & Ski Resort during winter . After free. Dinner & overnight at Hotel.

Day 3: Gulmarg - Pahalgam (154 Kms ):-

Attractions: SaffronÂ Â growingÂ Â fields,Awantipura ruins,Martand Temple (sun temple),base camp for Amarnath pilgrimage

After breakfast check –out from hotel & proceed to pahalgam (7200 fts a.s.l ).”VILLAGE OF SHEPHERDS “ enroute visiting the world famous Saffron growing fields , Awantipura ruins (9th century ) & Martand Temple (sun temple). Pahalgam is famous for indan film industry, some trekking routes & also base camp for Amarnath pilgrimage. On arrival in pahalgam check in hotel .dinner & overnight in hotel.

Day 4: Pahalgam:

Attractions: Liddarwat,Kolahoi Glacier,Tarsar Lake,starting point of Amarnath Pilgrimage

After breakfast FULL DAY TO ENJOY & EXPLORE THE BEAUTY OF PAHALGAM .One can go to chandanwari (16 Kms ) is starting point of Amarnath Pilgrimage “ THE Abode of Shiva” , Aru ( 10 Kms from pahalgam ) has a fine Meadows of Picturesque scenery & starting point of trekking of (Liddarwat , Kolahoi Glacier , Tarsar Lake).Dinner & overnight at hotel.
