Bariloche - Buenos Aires - Puerto Montt - Santiago

Tour Overview

South America is a continent in the Western Hemisphere, mostly in the Southern Hemisphere, with a relatively small portion in the Northern Hemisphere. Chile is a long, narrow country stretching along South America's western edge, with more than 6,000km of Pacific Ocean coastline. Santiago, its capital, sits in a valley surrounded by the Andes and Chilean Coast Range mountains. The city's palm-lined Plaza de Armas contains the neoclassical cathedral and the National History Museum. The massive Parque Metropolitano offers swimming pools, a botanical garden and zoo. On the other side Argentina is a massive South American nation with terrain encompassing Andes mountains, glacial lakes and Pampas grassland, the traditional grazing ground of its famed beef cattle. The country is famous for tango dance and music. Its big, cosmopolitan capital, Buenos Aires, is centered on the Plaza de Mayo, lined with stately 19th-century buildings including Casa Rosada, the iconic, balconied presidential palace.

Day 1: Arrive Santiago

Arrive at Santiago which is capital Capital of Chile located in the Central Valley, framed by the majestic Mountain range of the Andes. The beautiful and extensive valleys that surround the city give rise to famous Chilean wines, in addition to a pleasant Mediterranean climate, between summits of the mountain range with their winter centers and the privileged coast of the Pacific Ocean. On arrival you will meet our local representative & transfer on Seat in Coach Basis to hotel. Check in & relax. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the city on own Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Santiago

Attractions: Square Plaza de Armas,Metropolitan Cathedral

After breakfast at hotel, Breakfast During the morning half day city tour of Santiago, a panoramic tour visiting the main attractions of the capital, where you will appreciate the contrast between the city's rich history and its modern and imposing buildings. We will see the Goverment Palace, the Main Square Plaza de Armas - Surrounded by the neoclassical facades of Santiago's most important buildings, including the Metropolitan Cathedral, the municipalidad, or federal building; and perhaps most striking, the magnificent Correo Central, or old post office, Santa Lucia Hill, the Metropolitan Park - full of gardens, hiking and biking trails, and outdoor sports fields and the exclusive residential areas of Vitactura and Las Condes. Rest of the day at leisure for personal activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Santiago – Puerto Montt

Attractions: Puerto Montt,Vicente Perez Rosales Main Square

Breakfast at hotel and check out. Transfer to the airport to take flight to Puerto Montt. (approx 1hr 40min, daily flights). Arrival at the airport and transfer to Puerto Varas (Approximate half n hour). After arrival at Puerto varas check in at the hotel. Afternoon proceed for Half day Puerto Montt and Puerto varas tour. The visit to Puerto Montt begins with a panoramic view from the Viewpoint, going down towards downtown through the residential district and government buildings, to the Main Square with its Cathedral, the monument to the German settlers, the church of the Jesuit, through the Urmeneta street and Antonio Varas street, towards the commercial and harbor zones, in direction towards to Chinquihue town, returning through the fish and seafood market of Angelmo with its colorful craftsmanship fair. Continuing through the Pan-American highway towards to Puerto Varas, city located in front of the Llanquihue lake, going down San Francisco street and its parochial church (1917), Vicente Perez Rosales Main Square, Municipal Casino, residential districts with their old houses (some of them declared National Monument), through the promenade that goes along the borders of the lake towards the Philippi hill, from where a panoramic view of the city of Puerto Varas and the surroundings is obtained. Rest of the day free at leisure. Day 4: Puerto Montt - Peulla

Attractions: Todos los Santos Lake

After an early breakfast check out and Departure to go along the border of the Llanquihue Lake always having the imposing Osorno volcano on the horizon, in the direction of Petrohue. After that, we board to sail in the beautiful Todos los Santos Lake, also known as Emerald Lake because of the green-blue color of its water, towards Peulla.  Afternoon arrive at Peulla and transfer to the hotel. Check in and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: Peulla - Bariloche

After an early breakfast check out and Departure in the morning by bus to Puerto Frias (Approx 2 hours). From Puerto Frias, we board the ferry to cross the Frias Lake to Puerto Alegre (approx 20 min. away) From Puerto Alegre the trip continues by bus to Puerto Blest (approx 15 min.) From Puerto Blest, we board a catamaran to sail on Lago Nahuel Huapi towards Puerto Panuelo (1hr 05 min. away). From Puerto Panuelo, there is a bus transfer towards the hotel (30 min.) Transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6: Bariloche

After breakfast, proceed for Half-day tour around the city of Bariloche. The tour begins in Bariloche through Bustillo Avenue. The road is asphalted, sinuous and borders the Nahuel Huapi Lake. Playa Bonita is situated at 8 Km.; the Huemul island may be appreciated from there. Ten kilometers ahead and after enjoying different landscapes, we reach the foot of Campanario Hill. Here, a chain lift transports all of us to the top (1.050mts.), from where we may appreciate one of the most beautiful and fascinating views of the region. We may also enjoy lakes Nahuel Huapi, Perito Moreno and El Trebol, San Pedro and Llao Llao peninsules, Victoria Island, Otto, Lopez, Goye and Catedral Hills and the city of Bariloche. Following with the trip and leaving behind San Pedro Peninsule, we arrive to Llao Llao Peninsule. The great Llao Llao Hotel and the San Eduardo's Chapel stand out by the Nahuel Huapi lake and Puerto Pañuelo. Both, this hotel and the chapel, are considered architectural treassures of the region. We will also see the golf courses, the Angostura bridge over the river with the same name which joins Moreno and Nahuel Huapi lakes and Lopez bay by the foot of the homonymous hill. Further on, we reach the Viewpoint, a natural balcony overlooking the Moreno lake and the Llao Llao peninsule. Cross then the bridge that pass over lake Moreno, border El Trebol lake and 2 kms. ahead we will connect Bustillo Avenue (at Km. 18) in order to return to the city and end the journey. Rest of the day at leisure for personal activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7: Bariloche – Buenos Aires

After breakfast transfer to the airport to take flight to Buenos Aires. On arriving to the airport of Buenos Aires (Domestic flights airport), you will find assistance and a transfer to the hotel & check in. Day free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 8: Buenos Aires

After a buffet breakfast, proceed for an interesting tour around the city of Buenos Aires. This tour portrays the many faces of Buenos Aires: we will visit the symbol of our city, the Obelisk, squares such as Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martin and Plaza Alvear; Avenida De Mayo, Corrientes and 9 de Julio among other avenues; La Boca and San Telmo, historic neighborhoods, the magnificent Palermo and Recoleta areas and modern neighborhoods like Puerto Madero; Lezama Park and Tres de Febrero (known as Bosques de Palermo) along with the Ecologic Reserve of the Costanera Sur and the commercial and financial areas of the city. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 9: Return

Breakfst at hotel and Check out. Later transfer to Ezeiza International Airport, for your flight back home.
