Bangkok - Pattaya
Tour Overview
Thailand is a Southeast Asian country. It's known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha. Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, is a large city known for ornate shrines and vibrant street life. The boat-filled Chao Phraya River feeds its network of canals, flowing past the Rattanakosin royal district, home to opulent Grand Palace and its sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple. Nearby is Wat Pho Temple with an enormous reclining Buddha and, on the opposite shore, Wat Arun Temple with its steep steps and Khmer-style spire..Pattaya is a city on Thailand’s eastern Gulf coast known for its beaches. A quiet fishing village as recently as the 1960s, it’s now lined with resort hotels, high-rise condos, shopping malls, cabaret bars and 24-hour clubs. Nearby, hillside Wat Phra Yai Temple features an 18m-tall golden Buddha. The area also features several designer golf courses, some with views of Pattaya Bay.
Day 1: Arrive Bangkok - Pattaya
Attractions: Alcazar Show
Arrive Bangkok airport - our local representative will be waiting outside the customs area at Exit Gate to transfer you to Pattaya. Arrive at Pattaya and check in at hotel. Jet-skiing and parasailing are popular activities at Pattaya's busy beaches. After dark, the action shifts to the streets, as revellers explore its electrified nightlife scene, where drinking and partying continue until dawn. Evening proceed to watch the Alcazar Show – the greatest show in Asia. See a marvelous combination of music and the best transvestite cabaret show in Thailand. At night, however, the road comes alive with neon lights, thumping music from different genres, food vendors, street performances and party animals from around the world. Day 2: Pattaya
Attractions: Coral Island
After breakfast, first proceed for tour of Coral Island by speed boat.The island offers parasailing, water-skiing and jetskis. Snorkeling and deep-sea diving are recommended off the nearby islands of Koh Krok and Koh Sak, where there is an abundance of coral and undersea life waiting to be discovered. However, tourists should bring their own diving equipment since there are no dive shops in this area. Board a glass-bottom boat and see the wonderful underwater marine life and corals. Afternoon come back to the main island of Pattaya and proceed on Seat-in-coach to Nong Nooch Village. This is a 500 acre tropical botanical garden. The beautifully landscaped private park offers a glimpse of multiple themed gardens on shaded elevated walkways. See the topiary garden, the orchid nursery, a recreation of Stonehenge and more. Your guide accompanies you to the Thai Cultural Hall to watch daily performances including classical Thai dance and kickboxing as well as a popular elephant show. Visit the open zoo and aviary, and be sure to catch the elephant show, which showcases the talents of Asian elephants as they perform tricks such as bike riding and playing football. This apart there is a recently opened Nong Nooch butterfly house, housing more than 1500 butterflies, containing the small yellow butterfly to the largest in the world – Attacus Atlas. Rest of the day at leisure to relax in your resort or take a stroll on the beach. Overnight at hotel in Pattaya.
Day 3: Pattaya
After breakfast, day at leisure to explore on own or enjoy the various water sports – parasailing, under sea walk, or relax on the beach. Walking Street itself is the most popular place to go at night. It is a full kilometre of nightlife, including over 80 go-go bars, several restaurants, live music, nightclubs and huge number of bars, each with a unique character. Pattaya may not be a shopper’s paradise in the same class as Bangkok, but that doesn’t stop it from having quite an impressive choice of malls, markets and boutique stores. You can find anything from high-end fashion to simple souvenirs along a price range from bank-busting to practically free. In some cases, the shops are not even the star attractions, with noteworthy places like Pattaya Floating Market or Mimosa offering a great day out as well, making them attractions in their own right. At the other end of the spectrum, the city has many local markets with a huge range of wares available. Overnight at hotel in Pattaya.
Day 4: Pattaya – Bangkok
After breakfast, check out and transfer on Seat-in-coach to Bangkok. Arrive at Bangkok and check in at your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure free for shopping and taking in the sights in Bangkok. Bangkok, Luxury malls compete with a sea of boutiques and markets, where you can treat yourself without overspending. Extravagant luxury hotels and surprisingly cheap serviced apartments welcome you with the same famed Thai hospitality. And no visit to Bangkok would be complete without a glimpse of its famous nightlife – from cabarets to exotic red-light districts, Bangkok never ceases to amaze. Shopping in Bangkok is an experience to thrill and delight the most discerning of shoppers - whatever it is you're looking for. From the gleaming chrome and towering size of modern, air-conditioned malls, to the hustle and bustle of its famously buzzing street markets, Bangkok has all kinds of places to blow your baht. With everything from antiquities and the latest pair of trainers to designer jewellery available, Bangkok has an equally exhaustive, and potentially exhausting, variety of things to buy. Day 5: Bangkok
Attractions: Safari World with Marine Park,Wat Pho in Old City
After breakfast, proceed for full day tour of Safari World with Marine Park. Housing a vast spectrum of animals and 8 amazing world-class shows, see animal performances and live shows. There is – Jungle Cruise, Sea Lion Show, Orangutan Boxing Show, Feeding Show, Dolphin Show, Bird Show, Jungle Walk and lots more exciting stuff. The park offers a great variety of entertainment for everyone. After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Visit the Damnoen Saduak floating markets, continues to offer an authentic experience despite its increasingly touristy atmosphere. Imagine dozens of wooden row boats floating by, each laden to the brim with farm-fresh fruits, vegetables or flowers. You can also visit China Town with its packed market stalls. You can visit the Wat Pho in Old City - There’s more to Wat Pho than the gigantic reclining Buddha and traditional Thai massage. Wat Pho harbours a fascinating collection of murals, inscriptions and sculptures that delve into various subjects, from warfare to astronomy to archaeology. For shopping you can visit the Siam Paragon Centre, Centara At Central World, MBK etc. Overnight at hotel in Bangkok.
Day 6: Bangkok
Attractions: Dream World with Snow Town,Colours of the World Parade
After breakfast, proceed for full day tour of Dream World with Snow Town.This is a huge amusement park, where guests can savor the exciting shows and rides in its four themed lands of dreams. Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, there are linked paths, pools, legendary castles and more than 30 exciting rides for everyone to enjoy. There are exciting rides for young and old and a major highlight for both young and old is 'snow town' newly refurbished and more enchanting than ever. Don’t miss the Colours of the World Parade - Don't miss this extravaganza! Meet your favourite cartoon characters in the spectacular Colours of the World Parade. Of course, Dreamy will be in the parade too! Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Bangkok.
Day 7: Depart Bangkok
After breakfast, morning at leisure free for shopping.Then later check out and transfer on seat-in-coach to airport for your departure flight.
