Canada is a North American country stretching from the U.S. in the south to the Arctic Circle in the north. Edmonton, capital of Canada's Alberta province, sits on the North Saskatchewan River. Its past is recreated at Fort Edmonton Park, a living history museum with an 1846 fort and streets from 1885, 1905 and 1920. The city's contemporary landmarks include the Royal Alberta Museum, with aboriginal-culture and natural-history galleries, and the futuristic-looking Art Gallery of Alberta, known for its First Nations art.Lake Louise is a hamlet in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, known for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks and overlooked by a stately chateau. Hiking trails wind up to the Lake Agnes Tea House for bird's-eye views. There's a canoe dock in summer, and a skating rink on the frozen lake in winter. The Lake Louise Ski Resort features a wildlife interpretive center at the top of a gondola.

Day 1: Arrive Edmonton

Attractions: Galaxyland Amusement Park,World Water Park,Sea Lions Rock

On arrival, transfer from Edmonton Airport to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore West Edmonton Mall featuring 800 stores, 100 eating establishments, nine thrilling parks and attractions. This amazing structure is home to Galaxyland Amusement Park, World Water Park, Sea Lions Rock and the Ice Palace. See Edmonton from a bird’s eye view at the Snow Valley Aerial Park set to open this May. Visit the Old Strathcona and Whyte Avenue which has been named as one of Canada’s five best shopping neighbourhoods. Visit the Farmers Markets and grab fresh produce, warm baking homemade wares and chat with the locals. Visit the Telus World of Science with its exhibitions, its a giant laboratory where you can come face-to-face with small sea creatures, learn to program a robot and explore the limits of outer space! Five dynamic and engaging permanent exhibit galleries are designed to educate, engage and entertain. International exhibits like Bodyworlds, Harry Potter and Indiana Jones set up in the featured exhibit spaces. Edmonton is also one of the best viewing spots for ‘Northern Lights’ in winter, an incredible display of nature. Visit the Muttart Conservatory – with its glass pyramids and a fragrant home to over 800 vivid plant species from around the world. You can visit the ‘Royal Alberta Museum’ where 11,000 year-old human history comes alive. Experience old fashioned farm fun at Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm - only 40 minutes from Edmonton. It’s a 35-acre fully operational working farm, so pick your own fruits and vegetables, including peas, baby potatoes, beans and zucchini. In late summer, walk through three huge corn mazes, enjoy a Corn Fest and, of course, munch on more corn than you could imagine. At Harvest time, choose from many sizes of pumpkins as well as corn stalks, gourds and squash. Day 2: Edmonton - Jasper

After breakfast, check out and keep the luggage in the lobby. Rest of the morning is at leisure. Afternoon checkout and transfer to Jasper. Leaving Edmonton, you will set your sights today on the magnificent Rocky Mountains. On arrival, check in at hotel. It is the commercial centre of Jasper National Park, located in the Canadian Rockies within the Athabasca River valley. Mountains are Jasper's calling card. The town of Jasper is in the heart of Jasper National Park. The park’s shimmering glaciers, abundant wildlife, crystal-clear lakes, thundering waterfalls, deep canyons and evergreen forest — all surrounded by towering mountains — are some of the reasons the park was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s one of only 15 such sites in Canada. But even from inside the car, the mountain views are spectacular. In particular, the road south of Jasper to Lake Louise is renowned for its breathtaking vistas. About halfway down, motorists often stop at the Columbia Icefield to view a still mighty but receding glacier, part of the Icefields Parkway and Eastern Slopes region. In the town of Jasper itself, visitors enjoy a peaceful small-town atmosphere, while chalets, B&Bs and famous Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge offer a wide range of accommodations, often in buildings reflecting a distinct alpine architecture. Day 3: Jasper

After breakfast proceed on Explore Jasper Tour – Jasper’s beauty and history is set amid some of the most rugged peaks in the Rockies. Highlights include Jasper town site see the town, then proceed to the Athabasca Viewpoint, then discover the beautiful Maligne Lake - Set amongst the towering Canadian Rockies, Maligne Lake is famed for it's azure-blue, glacial waters and Spirit Island, one of the most photographed spots in North America. You can take a boat tour on the Lake. Then proceed to Maligne Canyon and stroll along 50 metres walls and learn about its unique underground water system. Drive 10 minutes north of Jasper for an ice-walk adventure you won't soon forget. Named for its haunting atmosphere, Maligne Canyon is the deepest canyon in the park. The hardiest souls climb its sheets of ice, but anyone can strap on anti-slip cleats to venture through the frozen canyon. At an additional cost you can experience the Maligne Canyon Icewalk - our guide will lead you safely along the frozen canyon floor through its maze of fascinating ice sculptures. Explore the entrance to a cave system, ice caves, fossils and towering frozen waterfalls stretching over 30m up the canyon walls. Afternoon is free for enjoying optional activities – white water rafting, Jasper Skytram – fly above and besides the Rocky Mountains on the Skytram in a comfortable and safe compartment, 2277 metres above the ground. Cruise on Maligne Lake – take a Lake Boat Tour - Maligne Lake is world-renowned for its breathtaking beauty and is one of the most photographed places in the Canadian Rockies. A professional photographer will show you how to capture the beauty of Spirit Island and the azure colours of the surrounding lake. Day 4: Jasper – Lake Louise via Columbia Icefields

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Lake Louise - start your journey in this picturesque hamlet west of Banff. First, soar to an elevation of 2,088 m (6,850 ft) on the Lake Louise Gondola for some of the best grizzly bear viewing opportunities in the Canadian Rockies. Then enjoy afternoon tea overlooking Lake Louise and the Victoria Glacier at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Then continue to Columbia Icefields - Continue north to cross the boundary between Banff and Jasper national parks. Now you’re into the Columbia Icefield. Plan to stop at the Glacier Discovery Centre and board an Ice Explorer that will take you up onto the Athabasca Glacier, where you can walk on ice up to 360 m (1,180 ft) thick. For stunning aerial views of glittering glaciers and rugged mountain peaks, take the five-minute shuttle from the Discovery Centre to the Glacier Skywalk, a glass-floored observation platform suspended 280 m (919 ft) over the glacier-formed Sunwapta Valley, get an unobstructed view of the surrounding glaciers. Continue along the Parkway to the Crowfoot Glacier, on the south end of Bow Lake. Watch for wildlife such as deer, moose, elk, bighorn sheep and mountain goats. Then move onto Peyto Lake - Your next quintessential Canadian Rockies photo opportunity is Peyto Lake, a few minutes further north. Take the easy 10-minute stroll along a paved trail to the viewpoint. It’s the highest elevation on the Parkway and offers spectacular views of the glacial valley and gorgeous lake below. And then proceed to Bow Lake - Just up the road is the best Bow Lake lookout where you can get an excellent shot of the historic Num-TiJah Lodge across the sparkling turquoise lake. Nestled on a shoreline of evergreens, the iconic log and stone chalet with crimson roof was built by legendary pioneer and mountaineer Jimmy Simpson. Finally proceed back to Lake Louise and overnight at Lake Louise hotel.

Day 5: Lake Louise - Banff

After breakfast, check out and keep your luggage in the lobby. Morning is at leisure to enjoy the beautiful Lake Louise – known for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks and overlooked by a stately chateau. Explore optional activities – take a panoramic Gondola ride and get an unforgettable bird’s eye view views of Lake Louise and Banff, the more adventurous can go hiking in Lake Louise area, there are also horse riding tours, tubing, skating, rafting, canoeing, biking or check out one of Lake Louise’s museums, once the sun goes down, find a secluded spot, lay a blanket down and see how many shooting stars you can spot, go bowling, or try out the indoors water park or climbing gym. Lake Louise is the hiking capital of Canada. Then post afternoon, transfer to Banff. Day 6: Banff – Calgary

Attractions: Rundle Tunnel,Tunnel Mountain,Bow Falls

After breakfast, check out and keep luggage in the lobby. Then proceed for Explore Banff Tour – the resort town of Banff is set amongst the towering mountains, of Rundle Tunnel, Tunnel Mountain trail with views of Banff Springs Golf Course, although it is the smallest mountain in Banff, Tunnel Mountain offers spectacular views of the valley and panoramas over the town of Banff, views of Cascade and Norquay. Highlights include: Bow Falls: Not like your typical waterfalls, the Bow Falls is wide and short. You might feel some mist from the waterfalls during the mid-summer due to the high water levels. You can also see the valley that was eroded by glacier activity and the Bow river over the years. Then explore Tunnel Mountain Drive – a scenic route to drive around, from the view point you can see the town of Banff, visit the Surprise Corner - this is the spot where most of the famous pictures have been taken of the historic Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel! As you drive the Tunnel Mountain road from town, you get to Surprise Corner where it opens up suddenly and you can see the Banff Springs Hotel on your right. You may have seen this view somewhere already. typically in a book or on a postcard. The best time to take pictures here is late morning or mid-day. Then see ‘Hoodoos’ - Hoodoos are composed sedimentary rock covered by harder rock that is harder to erode. Once softer sediment erodes rock needle, or tower like natural obstacles are left. To get there, drive up Tunnel Mountain road from the town. There are few guard rails so please be careful. Hoodoos can be seen below you down in the valley. You may see some people walking under the Hoodoos. There is no official trail to get there and you need good shoes that have excellent grip if you want to go. Then see the ‘Two Jack Viewpoint’. And proceed to ‘Lake Minnewanka’ (home of the Banff Crasher Squirrel), lies in the Banff National Park, take the Banff Lake Cruise open mid May – mid October, enjoy a 60 minutes scenic cruise, Enjoy entertaining and informative narration as you travel through the spectacular scenery of the Canadian Rockies. Then take a gentle ride in the Banff Gondola which gives outstanding panoramic views of Banff and the Canadian Rockies from 7486 feet. Enjoy the 8 minute ride to top of the world where there are dining options, hiking trails and observation decks at the Summit of Sulphur Mountain. Restaurants are open year round here so enjoy the views. Then transfer to Calgary. Arrive at Calgary and check in at your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Calgary.

Day 7: Calgary

After breakfast, checkout of hotel and transfer by hotel shuttle to Calgary Airport to connect flight to onward destination.
