Kuala Lumpur - Malacca
Tour Overview
Malaysia is a Southeast Asian country occupying parts of the Malay Peninsula and the island of Borneo. It's known for its beaches, rainforests and mix of Malay, Chinese, Indian and European cultural influences. The capital, Kuala Lumpur, is home to colonial buildings, busy shopping districts such as Bukit Bintang and skyscrapers such as the iconic, 451m-tall Petronas Twin Towers. Malacca City (also spelled Melaka) is the capital of the coastal state of Malacca, in southwestern Malaysia. At its center, Jonker Street, Chinatown’s main thoroughfare, is known for antique shops and its night market. Nearby, the 17th-century Chinese Cheng Hoon Teng temple has ornate decorations and multiple prayer halls. A green, 3-tiered roof tops the 18th-century, Javanese-influenced Kampung Kling Mosque.
Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Malacca

From Kuala Lumpur hotel proceed by a private vehicle to Malacca (approx 2 hours). Malacca City (also Melaka) is the capital of the coastal state of Malacca, in southwestern Malaysia. At its center, Jonker Street, Chinatown’s main thoroughfare, is known for antique shops and its night market. Nearby, the 17th-century Chinese Cheng Hoon Teng temple has ornate decorations and multiple prayer halls. A green, 3-tiered roof tops the 18th-century, Javanese-influenced Kampung Kling Mosque. Check in the Hotel. Take a trishaw ride, visit the St Paul’s Church, then visit The Stadthuys - A massive bright terracotta-red river front building that was once the official residence of Dutch governors and officers, then visit the Baba Nyonya heritage Museum (a collection of three beautifully restored Malay Houses). Evening visit the – Menara Taming Sari Tower – from a height of 110 metres, the 360 degree revolving structure offers you a spectacular and panoramic view of historical Malacca city. Take a Malacca river cruise at night and see the illuminated town. Visit the Jonker Street for its night market on weekends, with a wide variety of stalls and bargains with a lively street party like atmosphere. Overnight at Malacca.
Day 2: Depart Malacca
After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Kuala Lumpur.
