Tour Overview
China is a populous nation in East Asia whose vast landscape encompasses grassland, desert, mountains, lakes, rivers and more than 14,000 km of coastline. Capital Beijing mixes modern architecture with historic sites such as the Forbidden City palace complex and Tiananmen Square. Shanghai is a skyscraper-studded global financial center. The iconic Great Wall of China runs east-west across the country's north.Beijing, China’s sprawling capital, has history stretching back 3 millennia. Yet it’s known as much for modern architecture as its ancient sites such as the grand Forbidden City complex, the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Nearby, the massive Tiananmen Square pedestrian plaza is the site of Mao Zedong’s mausoleum and the National Museum of China, displaying a vast collection of cultural relics.Shanghai, on China’s central coast, is the country's biggest city and a global financial hub. Its heart is the Bund, a famed waterfront promenade lined with colonial-era buildings. Across the Huangpu River rises the Pudong district’s futuristic skyline, including 632m Shanghai Tower and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, with distinctive pink spheres. Sprawling Yu Garden has traditional pavilions, towers and ponds.
Day 1: Beijing
Arrive at Beijing. Meet and greet by local representative, transfer to the hotel. The day is free for acclimatization. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Beijing
Attractions: Tiananmen Square,Temple of Heaven
Beijing – Half Day City Tour After breakfast, In the morning, pay a visit to the Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest and renowned public square where many historical events once took place.Then walk into the Forbidden City (UNESCO), where the 24 emperors of the Ming and the Qing Dynasties ruled for nearly 500 years (1420- 1911). Experience the architectural splendor of the palaces, ceremonial courtyards and private quarters. Visit a silk gift shop en route. After the lunch (ON OWN), visit the Temple of Heaven (UNESCO), where ancient Chinese emperors would make sacrifices to Heaven and pray for good harvests. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the Beijing hotel.
Day 3: Beijing
Attractions: Great Wall of China,Ming Tombs
Beijing After breakfast, proceed for a day tour to the Great Wall of China, the number one attraction and the only man made construction on earth visible from space, which was built some 2000 years ago, and the Ming Tombs, a complex of Tombs set into the hillsides sheltering well-preserved artifacts of 13 Emperors from the Ming Dynasty. En-route vist Jade Factory, visit the Summer Palace (UNESCO), the largest imperial garden in the world. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the Beijing hotel.
Day 4: Beijing - Shanghai
Attractions: Yu Yuan Garden
After breakfast, check out & transfer to train station for your domestic high speed train to Shanghai, upon arrival to proceed for the tour with the Yu Yuan Garden (UNESCO). Owing to its ingenious design in Ming and Qing dynasties, it becomes a real museum of Chinese ancient architecture. Walk around the Old Downtown with its maze of walkways, reflecting ponds, pavilions and stone bridges. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the Hotel Shanghai.
Day 5: Shanghai
Attractions: Historical Buildings,Jade Buddha Temple,Shanghai Museum
After breakfast, proceed for Wander through the bustling Bund, featuring outstanding European colonial architectures, new skyscrapers and historical buildings in Shanghai. Photo stop at oriental pearl TV Tower, visit 94th floor of shanghai world financial center, Lunch on own, Then head to the Jade Buddha Temple that is famous for two precious jade Buddhist statues. Continue to visit the Shanghai Museum, with its 120,000 piece collection of Chinese ancient treasures. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the Hotel Shanghai.
Day 6: Depart Shanghai
After breakfast, check out & transfer to the airport for your flight to next destination.

Tour price includes:
1. 05 night’s hotel accommodation with daily buffet breakfast.
2. Whole trip transfer and tours with local English speaking guide, all on private basis.
3. Tourist first-entrance fee as per the itinerary.

Tour price does not include:

Visa requirements: You must be in possession of a single entry visa for China.
Passport and P.O.E.: To undertake the tour you must be in possession of a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your date of travel.
