Tour Overview
South India is the area including the five Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana, as well as the three union territories of Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Puducherry, occupying 19% of India's area.
Day 1: Arrive Cochin
You arrive in Cochin airport. After a traditional Swagat (Welcome) our representative would meet you at
the airport and transfer to Hotel, Refresh yourself and relax..
Day 2: Cochin sightseeing
Attractions: Ayyappa Temple, Navneeta Krisna Temple, Sankanarayana Temple,,Shri Mahadeva Temple,Aranmula Temple.
We go on full day temple tour of Cochin we vist Ayyappa Temple, Navneeta Krisna Temple,
Sankanarayana Temple, later we also vist Shri Mahadeva Temple and Aranmula Temple.
In the evening, watch a colorful and lively Kathakali performance and later learn about its details - facial
make up, significance of different colors, masks and costumes. This will not only entertain you but also
expose you to the cultural wealth of the state

Day 3: Cochin – Munnar
Post breakfast at 0900 hrs we leave for a city tour of Cochin, with visits to St. Francis& Church, Dutch
Palace (Built by the Portuguese), Jew Town, the Jewish Synagogue built in the year 1568, spice
market, where the air is filled with the pungent smell of spices, and Chinese fishing nets.
Later in the afternoon we drive to Munnar. The distance of approximately 150 km is covered in around 4
hours while enjoying the scenic beauty with marvelous waterfalls, high mountains and low flying clouds
passing through. Upon arrival check-in hotel.

Day 4: Munnar sightseeing
Attractions: Krishna Temple, Ayyapa Temple, Shri Maheswari Temple,Dharmasastha Temple.
Munnar is one of the most popular hill stations in India, Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns,
winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make Munnar a unique experience. Munnar is essentially a
tea town.
Morning post breakfast we head for a half-day tour of Munnar, visiting the world highest tea estates
spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometres, Lush green hills all around - a place to be seen to
be believed,
Later we continue our trip we visit Krishna Temple, Ayyapa Temple, Shri Maheswari Temple and
Dharmasastha Temple.

Day 5: Munnar – Periyar
Attractions: Mahadeva Temple
Today we head for one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries in India, the Periyar Wildlife Reserve. Upon arrival
at Periyar, we assist you to check in at our hotel. Set on an attractive lakeside, it is South India most
popular Wildlife Sanctuary. Late afternoon at 1500 hrs we shall take you to a guided Spice and
plantation tour in one of the Spice Gardens / Plantations for which this region is famous.
We also visit Mahadeva Temple in Periyar wild life.
Day 6: Periyar – Kumarakom
Attractions: boat cruise,Muthen Nada Mahadeva Temple,Thek kumkara ArdhaNariswara Temple,Puthiyakavu Devi Templ,Subramanya Temple
Periyar is a place to cruise on the lake and gives an opportunity to see wildlife. It is home to tigers, leopards,
elephants, bison (gaur), antelopes, sambhar, wild boar, money etc, and a wide variety of birds.
Early morning before breakfast at 0630 hrs we go for a wildlife viewing to the sanctuary on Lake Periyar by boat
cruise. After two hours of wildlife viewing we get back to the hotel for breakfast.
Later we leave for Kumarakom known for its backwaters, huge Vembanad Lake and the famous Kumarakom Bird
Sanctuary. Check in at hotel.
Later we go on full day temple tour of Kumarakom, we visit Muthen Nada Mahadeva Temple, after that we vist
Thek kumkara ArdhaNariswara Temple, we also vist Puthiyakavu Devi Temple and Subramanya Temple.

Day 7: Kumarakom – Allepey
Attractions: boat cruise,houseboat
Periyar is a place to cruise on the lake and gives an opportunity to see wildlife. It is home to tigers,
leopards, elephants, bison (gaur), antelopes, sambhar, wild boar, money etc, and a wide variety of birds.
Early morning before breakfast at 0630 hrs we go for a wildlife viewing to the sanctuary on Lake Periyar

Later we leave for Allepey known for its backwaters,
This region is famous for its beautiful backwaters and village life revolving around the banks of these
backwaters. On arrival board the houseboat, locally called Kettuvallam, and cruise around backwaters of
Kumarakom to Thothapalli to observe and experience the daily life of the villagers along the backwaters.

Day 8: Allepey – Kanyakumari
Attractions: Padmanabhapuram palace sucheendram temple
Morning Post Breakfast, Check out from the Houseboat and Drive to Kanyakumari, Enroute, visit
Padmanabhapuram palace Sucheendram Temple. Upon arrival transfer and Check inn into the
Hotel.
Day 9: Kanyakumari-Kovalam
Attractions: Mahapuram Temple.,Ayurvedic salons
Morning Post Breakfast, visit Mahapuram Temple. This is the only place in India where one can enjoy
the unique experience of watching the sunset and moonrise simultaneously on a full moon evening. Enjoy
the sightseeing place of Kanyakumari. After sunset, drive to Kovalam.
Kovalam, South of Trivandrum. There are two main beaches at Kovalam, separated by a high cliff. It is
finding a new significance in the light of several Ayurvedic salons, like ecuperation & regeneration
resorts which provide a slew of Ayurvedic.

Day 10: Kovalam
Kovalam beach is well known for its beautiful sunset. Each and every day there will be something new to tell about
the sunset in Kovalam due to its beauty. The variation of colors such as red, orange and yellow in the sun and sky
